I’ve been to Salt & Straw so many times over the years and I’ve probably visited the Manhattan Beach location more than any other one so I already knew what to expect coming here This was actually my first time at the Palo Alto location and it didn’t disappoint at all I ordered one of their signature flavors and it was just as good as I remembered Super creamy, rich without being too heavy, and the balance of flavors was spot on. One thing I always like about Salt & Straw is that their ice cream tastes creative without trying too hard The staff here were really friendly and happy to let me sample a few flavors before deciding. Even with a line, everything moved pretty quickly and nobody seemed rushed I also like how this location fits into downtown Palo Alto. After grabbing coffee or walking around University Ave, it’s the perfect place to stop for dessert. The atmosphere felt relaxed and everyone just seemed to be enjoying themselves It’s definitely more expensive than your average ice cream shop, but I’ve never really minded paying a little more for something that’s consistently this good I’ve been a fan of Salt & Straw for a long time and this location definitely lives up

One of the best ice creams I’ve ever tasted! 🍦 I really liked: Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons Salted, Malted, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Chocolate Gooey Brownie Hazelnut Cookies & Cream Birthday Cakes & Blackberries The staff is super friendly, and they’re happy to let you try as many samples as you’d like before choosing. It can get crowded and there may be a wait, but it’s definitely worth it.

This place is especially busy at night, and the line was really long when I visited. I’m glad they offer online ordering and pickup, which saves a lot of time. I was in the area and got curious about this place. I tried their classic sea salt and caramel ribbon, but it wasn’t particularly good, just okay. I’ll try other flavours if I have another chance.

Charming spot in Palo Alto. Great selections of ice cream with milk specific alternatives. I recommend coming in during the week for a quieter experience and less crowded.

Always a yummy experience, and since their flavors change monthly, I also can find something new and yummy to enjoy! I like that they let you sample a lot of flavors as well. This location doesn’t have seating inside, and usually the mall outdoor seating gets busy, but I like walking with a cup of ice cream!
